My name is Arriyah , im 18 and located in Dallas, Texas. That alone helped me with my fashion journey im originally from Denver, Colorado and if were all being honest if it wasn't for my cousins clothing line mx, the style down there is very bland and not expressive. But moving to Dallas, a huge city full of culture and out spoken people you pick up on style and feel comfortable . Growing up i would put all types of things together . From rainbow knee-high socks, overalls, mix-match shoes. And as i got older and puberty hit along with common sense. My style changed to more typical “high-school girl “ trying to fit in and have everyones head turn as a senior so i started wearing clothes that compliment my figure but it was so hard to manage. Pulling my skirt down, making sure my shirt is sitting right but I always got compliments. The times I dressed a little more chill with sweats , hoodie, puffer jackets , not many heads turned so i was conflicted but the more I learned about myself I realized why not clash both styles together and not stick to one aesthetic. Now when i dress chill with sweats i add a touch of feminine to it, full face of makeup, nails done , hair slayed on chill . Putting my favorite worlds together.
